The Secured Lending Product Manager plays a critical leadership role in shaping the strategic direction and accelerating the growth of DBS's secured lending portfolio. This position directly oversees three core areas: the Singapore mortgage book for affluent customers, the overseas property financing (OPF) portfolio, and the commercial mortgage portfolio. Responsibilities include driving growth and ensuring profitable expansion across these books. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a proven track record in product management, and the ability to deliver significant business impact.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Portfolio Management & Growth

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive strategies for profitable growth across Singapore mortgage (affluent wealth clients), overseas property financing, and commercial/ industrial mortgage portfolios
  • Analyze macro market trends, interest rate environments, liquidity, and property markets in Singapore and key overseas regions to inform portfolio strategy
  • Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share and enhance overall profitability
  • Drive budgetary achievement and growth targets for all three portfolios

Product Development

  • Lead the full product lifecycle for secured lending offerings, from innovative proposition design to post-launch optimisation
  • Develop and implement data-driven acquisition strategies, marketing campaigns, and product bundles to maximize customer engagement and conversion
  • Utilize advanced analytics and AI/ML propensity models to refine targeting and continuously improve product performance

Stakeholder Collaboration & Team Leadership

  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with internal (e.g., Credit, Legal & Compliance, Segments) and external stakeholders to foster collaborative outcomes and streamline processes
  • Co-lead squads in the Mortgage Performance Cell, collaborating horizontally across the organisation to deliver business outcomes
  • Prepare and present insightful management reports and strategic initiatives for executive oversight and decision-making
  • Lead and develop a team of specialists

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, preferably within secured lending or a related financial product
  • Understanding and appreciation of risk management, credit & secured lending principles, and compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in driving data-led strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively with various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team would be a plus
