This role offers location flexibility and may be based in any RBC Caribbean Banking market where the successful candidate currently resides.

What is the opportunity?

As a market leader and trusted strategic partner to the Regional Vice President Personal & Private Banking, you will drive business transformation and competitive advantage across the Private Banking Caribbean region. In this pivotal role, you will analyze, execute, embed, and sustain impactful local and Pan-Caribbean initiatives. You will lead the enablement of Caribbean Private Banking through significant change, creating programs that empower teams to execute with excellence and deliver sustainable business growth. As a trusted advisor to all partners, you will identify creative, strategic opportunities to drive revenue generation, acquire and deepen client relationships, mitigate risk, realize operational efficiencies, and develop high-performing employees. In your capacity as ROO, you will provide critical regulatory oversight and governance accountability across all business initiatives, ensuring compliance with RBC policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining operational excellence. What will you do?

  • Partner with the internal teams for strategy transformation to provide subject matter expertise enabling change management and communications as well as guidance relating to execution on Private Banking’s strategic priorities and transformative initiatives.
  • Work with partners, connecting business content to communications, key to our success in advancing enablement and execution excellence across our business.
  • Advocate for the use of various advisories and ensure the voice of the client facing role and a co-building mindset in each of your initiatives.
  • Plan and Calendar initiatives utilizing available data to ensure proper sequencing of initiatives.
  • Work with partners to coordinate and optimize communication effectiveness for RBC Private Banking employees and leaders.
  • You champion seamless physical and digital channel experiences for Private Banking clients, serving as the strategic lead and primary contact for sales leaders and cross-functional project teams. You provide end-to-end leadership and governance across all channel initiatives, from conception through implementation to sustained and embed including new physical locations, relocations, closures, ATM optimization, and digital transformation solutions.
  • Be a Centre of Expertise for market best practices and measures of success with a critical focus on enabling Private Banking employees and leaders and driving outcomes/KPIs in all initiatives.
  • You are a One RBC Market leader and key support role for the Regional Vice President in maximizing performance across key measures.
  • Support regulatory compliance and operations oversight as it pertains to Private Banking and co-ordination of any such activities

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 5-10 years of leadership, change management or sales management experience
  • Strong business and organizational knowledge, planning and implementing capabilities with knowledge/experience across P&PB or Wealth Management
  • Excellent oral and written communication, as well as facilitation and impact & influence skills
  • Ability to collaborate, build partnerships with key stakeholders for desired outcomes
  • Initiative and conceptual thinking

Nice to have:

  • Wealth Management experience, either in a client-facing or support role.
