Senior SAP PP/MM/SD Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP PP/MM/SD Consultant with strong hands-on implementation experience across SAP Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale SAP PP implementation projects and a solid understanding of SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA On-Premise, and SAP S/4HANA Cloud environments.

This role requires strong business process knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, business users, technical teams, and external stakeholders. The consultant must be willing to travel based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects across PP, MM, and SD modules.
• Work closely with business users to understand manufacturing, procurement, inventory, sales, logistics, and distribution processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional designs, configuration solutions, and functional specifications.
• Participate in large-scale SAP PP implementation projects, including production planning, MRP, BOM, routing, work centers, production orders, and shop floor execution processes.
• Configure and support integration among PP, MM, SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM, and other related SAP modules.
• Support full project lifecycle activities, including business blueprinting, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Provide guidance on SAP best practices for SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA On-Premise, and SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions.
• Work with technical teams on enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and custom developments.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, user documentation, training materials, and other project deliverables.
• Support UAT, defect resolution, cutover planning, go-live preparation, and hypercare activities.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, business stakeholders, consultants, developers, and end users.
• Travel to client sites or project locations as required.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP consulting and implementation experience, preferably across PP, MM, and SD modules.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP implementation, especially in large-scale or complex manufacturing projects.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end manufacturing, procurement, inventory management, sales order processing, delivery, billing, and logistics processes.
• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA On-Premise.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions and cloud implementation concepts.
• Strong knowledge of integration points among PP, MM, SD, and FI/CO.
• Experience in multiple full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel according to business and project needs.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chinese or Mandarin language skills are highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working in multinational or cross-cultural project environments.
• Industry experience in manufacturing sectors such as automotive, electronics, machinery, consumer goods, or industrial products.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience with data migration, integration testing, UAT, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• SAP certification in PP, MM, SD, or S/4HANA is preferred.
