Software Engineering Intern(Singapore-Based)

We are looking for a hands-on engineering intern to help us improve the annotation platform used by our data team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend features for the internal video annotation platform.
• Improve core platform workflows and user experience.
• Improve annotation templates to support new tasks more efficiently.
• Maintain databases and improve platform stability, reliability, and scalability.
• Build simple integrations with external tools to improve workflow automation.
• Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex to improve development efficiency while keeping the code reliable.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Some experience with frontend and backend development.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Basic experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Able to debug issues and improve existing systems.
• Comfortable working with imperfect systems and unclear requirements.
• Strong ownership and good communication skills.
