What You’ll Do:

As a member of the Communications team, you will work closely across functions to position SP as a leader in Singapore and the region, empowering the future of energy; an employer of choice; and a responsible and caring citizen in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective campaigns, and create differentiated content and strategic narratives to support SP’s aspirations amid structural and technological transformation in the energy industry
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to shape narratives and strengthen value propositions and value messaging.
  • Write, pitch and produce media releases, articles, social and digital media content, human interest stories, videos, and infographics.
  • Provide profiling and messaging counsel to business units, especially for media features, anticipating reputational opportunities and risks proactively presenting opportunities and securing positive outcomes
  • Manage issues and crisis communications, and actively participate in the emergency response team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional business units to ensure alignment of goals and outcomes.
  • Be part of the team that is the custodian for internal communications to create engaging content in line with corporate strategy and enhance employer branding, and ensure timely management of communications initiatives such as leadership messages and staff bulletins

What You’ll Need:

  • 8-10 years of experience in conceptualising and successfully executing strategic communication plans for companies with high-impact outcomes
  • Skilled in storytelling, writing and editing, with the ability to synthesis and project SP Group's core business features in content and campaigns
  • Strong media relations and experience in issues/crisis communications
  • Demonstrates critical thinking
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment that requires multi-tasking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and significant experience working with leadership teams and the media
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills with proven credentials and examples
  • Strong knowledge and abilities to use multiple platforms and channels (including digital)
  • Excellent project management skills
