AmPhi Labs is a soon-to-launch boutique innovation studio working at the intersection of Profit × Planet — we help teams find where AI solves problems worth solving, then build it. ML for waste reduction, computer vision over recycling lines, agents to debottleneck operations. Applied AI that ships — not notebooks, not slideware.

We bring the strategy, business acumen and the sustainability lens. Now we're strengthening the expert pool with the deep technical hand to match.

THE ROLE

A freelance AI/ML engineer who can take an idea from whiteboard to working system.

First and foremost, a true problem solver with a real passion for building — someone who starts from the problem, not the tool, and can't help shipping things.

You'd be the person who:

• Prototypes fast — ML models, LLM applications, agentic systems
• Thinks in architecture — designs workflows and APIs that are efficient by default and scale cleanly, so today's MVP is future-proofed instead of rebuilt
• Then makes them real — deployed to production, monitored, and cost-aware
• Brings the technical credibility clients trust in the room

The stack we work in: Python · PyTorch · the Anthropic SDK / Claude + MCP for agents (or n8n for fast, low-code orchestration) · a vector DB · FastAPI · Docker · CI/CD · your cloud of choice (AWS / GCP / Azure) · sensible MLOps.

You don't need every box ticked — depth where it counts and the hunger to learn the rest matters more.

Bonus points: computer vision, recommendation systems, and anyone who genuinely cares about the climate side of the equation.

Languages: Fluent English required · Dutch a plus.
