FPG Food Services operates more than 100 outlets across Singapore where customers can delight themselves with a wide selection of food choices. These include various outlet formats of kiosks, cafes, coffeeshops, food courts, hawker centres, and self-run food concepts.

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager (Strategic Projects & Partnerships), the intern will will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing vibrancy initiatives at the Social Enterprise Hawker Centres (SEHCs).The intern will be instrumental in supporting the expansion of these efforts, ensuring that the atmosphere in the hawker centres is lively and engaging, while also helping with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with hawkers, tenants, and community partners to develop events that boost community involvement in hawker centres, while actively participating in outreach to drive attendance and event awareness.
  • Conduct research on event trends and generate creative ideas, providing suggestions to enhance engagement and make events appealing to a diverse audience.
  • Support event promotion through digital channels, posters, and community outreach, while working with marketing on the design of marketing materials and managing social media posts for upcoming events.
  • Assist in organizing logistics for each event, including managing vendors, coordinating setup, and ensuring all necessary equipment is in place.
  • Support the tracking of event performance and engagement metrics, and assist in preparing post-event reports to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Offer administrative support to the vibrancy team and assist with various ad hoc tasks, while helping enhance the office environment through collaboration and maintaining a smooth workflow.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Students from Polytechnic or any of the recognized universities (Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to propose new ideas.
  • Basic knowledge of social media marketing and design tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator)
