Job description
About The Role Geely EU IT & Digital is looking for an experienced BI & Data Analyst to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that support business decision-making across Sales, Aftersales, and Operations. In addition to reporting, you will play a foundational role in building our data warehouse infrastructure — helping to establish the data architecture that will power analytics at scale across the European market.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders across Sales, Aftersales, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable data visualizations and KPI tracking frameworks.
- Participate in data warehouse planning and preparation: contribute to data modeling, define source-to-target mappings, and document data lineage.
- Work with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across systems (ERP, DMS, TMS, WMS, etc.).
- Monitor and analyze automotive business metrics including vehicle sales performance, spare parts inventory, dealer network KPIs, and aftersales revenue.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Support business users with self-service BI capabilities, including training and documentation.
Requirements Technical Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M language), and report deployment via Power BI Service.
- Solid proficiency in SQL; experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Azure SQL.
- Foundational knowledge of data warehousing concepts: dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schema), ETL/ELT pipelines, and data lake architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouse platforms such as AWS (Redshift, Glue, S3), Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Snowflake; hands-on experience with AWS or Databricks is a strong plus.
Domain Knowledge
- Automotive industry experience is strongly preferred — particularly in vehicle sales, aftersales / spare parts, dealer management, or supply chain.
- Understanding of automotive business systems and data sources: DMS (Dealer Management System), ERP, WMS, TMS.
- Ability to interpret business KPIs such as order fill rate, parts turnover, and dealer network performance.
Soft Skills & Other
- Strong communication skills — able to present data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and structured thinker; comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a strong advantage given cross-team collaboration with HQ.
NICE TO HAVE
- Python / pandas for data processing and automation.
- dbt (data build tool) for transformation pipelines.
- Azure Data Factory or similar orchestration tools.
- Experience working with EV or Chinese automotive brands.
- Familiarity with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
- Agile / Scrum project delivery methodology.
What We Offer
- Competitive remuneration package.
- A fast-paced dynamic environment in a successful international organization.
- International exposure with the chance to adapt locally and make a difference.
- Growth potential.
Geely’s mission is to create a smart mobility experience that exceeds user expectations, become a tech-driven global auto company and the most competitive and respectable Chinese auto brand in the world.
