As Chapter Lead Network Data & AI, you build and grow a strong capability within Network Data Intelligence. The focus is on enabling the right people, skills and ways of working to deliver network intelligence and automation that improve performance, reliability and decision-making.A chapter of data engineers, data scientists and AI/MLOps specialists is led with a strong emphasis on people, craftsmanship and long-term capability, while squads focus on delivery.Alignment with the NDI roadmap is key, with direction set on technical standards and ways of working, and support for teams applying them in a complex, large-scale environment.A culture of learning, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement is fostered across teams and disciplines, with coaching and mentoring supporting talent development and impact.The role balances delivery pressure with innovation and sustainability, ensuring solutions are fast, scalable, future-proof and impactful in operations.

You enjoy building strong data and AI teams and know how to guide people through change without losing momentum. You combine strategic overview with technical credibility and make complex topics clear and actionable for engineers, platform teams and senior stakeholders.

• You have experience leading data engineering, data science or AI/ML teams in complex, technology-driven environments
• You have solid knowledge of data engineering, analytics and AI/ML concepts, including MLOps, feature engineering and model governance
• You have experience working in Agile environments and know how to create structure without unnecessary bureaucracy
• You understand data governance as a foundation for trustworthy AI and reliable operations, not just compliance
• You are a strong coach who develops technical talent and helps engineers grow into ownership and broader impact
• You build strong relationships across diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to senior leadership
• You are fluent in English, spoken and written, and comfortable working in an international environment

Nice to have

• Experience building or scaling data and AI chapters or communities
• Experience with modern data platforms and AI lifecycle management
• Experience in telecom or other large-scale operational environments

• Salaris Bruto maandsalaris tussen

€5.544 min en €6.930 max met groeiperspectief.
