Job description

Job Title: Estimation Department Coordinator - Civil

Report to: Estimation Manager

Department & Section: Estimation Department

Job Location: Head Office - Dammam

Job Purpose :

Additional staff to cope with the current volume of work in the Estimation Department .

Job Responsibilities:

1) Review all tender documents (SOW, drawings, Specifications, Contract, etc.); and prepare/submit Bid. Review Report to the Estimation Manager in order for the Tender Committee to decide on "Bid or No Bid".

2) Represent the Company in meetings (Job-Explanation Meeting / site visit and pre-contract and Post Clarifications Meetings) with clients, consultants, subcontractors, governing agencies, and other parties with respect to estimation-related works.

3) Prepare a complete compilation of all estimation-related documents of each assigned project which includes original tender documents, all correspondences (letters/emails/faxes), Job-Explanation MOM, responses to clarifications, RFQs and quotations, commercial proposals, technical proposals, Method Statements; and, as the situation requires, prepare Estimation Weekly Report/periodic report, and control and maintain the Estimation departmental documents registers.

4) Assist (when necessary) the technical proposal engineer in the process of preparation of technical proposal and bid closing.

5) Operating all clients' portals (Aramco, DGL, NEOM, Etimad, and other bidding portals).

6) Responsible for all outside communications and follow-ups with clients, liaising all communications with concerned departments.

7) Sourcing for RFQs and Vendors for Civil Scope.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • 6 to 9 years of relevant experience as a QS/ EstimationEngineer.
  • Experienced in the construction industry, specifically with EPC or main contractor companies (consultancy experience will not be considered).
  • Previous working experience in KSA is required.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Experience dealing with prestigious clients such as NEOM, Diriyah, RCRC, Qiddiyah, Royal Commission, Ministry of Transport, and Ministry of Defense is highly preferred.
