Job Purpose
The SG Payments, Receivables & Information Services Lead will be a key team lead in the Singapore Cash team responsible to drive GTS Singapore Cash fee and products management including a comprehensive suite of products and solutions for Large and Mid-Cap, SMEs, and financial institutions. This role will primarily focus on Payments, Collections, Platform Services, Paper & Pricing related products, and associated platforms & solutions. The candidate will drive product strategy, industry representation, development, and commercialization to ensure profitability, competitiveness, and innovative solutions.
Key Accountabilities
As a Product Team Lead in Singapore GTS Cash, you will be instrumental in driving the strategic development, commercialization, and performance of our payment, collections, and information services in Singapore. You will lead a team of product managers, driving innovation and ensuring DBS product leadership is at forefront of the Singapore market.
1. Product Strategy & Management
- Strategic Product Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert, developing and executing robust product strategies for the payment, collections, and information services landscape in Singapore. Provide thought leadership and strategic vision for product management and the commercialization pipeline within GTS Cash Singapore. Experience in product management across multiple client segments – Financial Institutions, Large Corporates, Mid-Cap and SME preferred.
- Portfolio Oversight: Oversee the product portfolio, including payment, collections, and information services.
- Financial Performance & Profitability: Formulate and implement effective pricing strategies and commercialization plans to ensure sustained profitability while maintaining a competitive market position.
- Innovation & Growth: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to drive product innovation, revenue growth, and increased transaction volumes. Prioritize and leverage digital innovations and disruptions within the payments and collections landscape to develop and launch cutting-edge banking solutions.
- End-to-End Product Development: Oversee the complete product development lifecycle, from ideation and defining user requirements to developing business cases and collaborating seamlessly with technology and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of customer journeys and solutions.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular and in-depth analyses of the competitive landscape, including pricing, services, and features, to optimize the market positioning of our product offerings.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure that robust processes and controls are meticulously established and maintained for effective risk mitigation and full compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
- Corporate Client Solutions: Provide expert guidance and thought leadership on regional capabilities and sophisticated client solution structuring for key mandates. Experience in solution design across multiple client segments – Financial Institutions, Large Corporates, Mid-Cap and SME preferred
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Team Management: Oversee a team of product managers, guiding them in product development, commercialization, and P&L management of relevant products.
- Effective Product Development: Foster effective product development for relevant products, encompassing conceptualizing and bringing new solutions to market.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Sales, Relationship Managers (RMs), Implementation, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams, to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and sustain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
