Description:

Changi Airport Group is part of the inter-agency team developing Changi East, which encompasses the future Terminal 5 - set to be one of the largest airport terminals in the world. Changi Airport Group welcomes you to join the team helping to shape Singapore's aviation future.

As part of the Development Contracts and Cost Control team, you will support the cost management functions and pre- and post-contract administration of contracts for Changi East. You will be involved in budgeting and cost estimating, preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation reports, progress payments, as well as the assessment of variation works and claims related to the project.

You will work closely with Project Officers, consultants including designers and quantity surveyors on cost estimates and provide support in the construction funding process. You will also provide contractual support to Project Officers to manage and resolve issues with with partners and stakeholders such as consultants and contractors.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Building or related disciplines

At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in contract administration and cost management of electrical and mechanical systems for buildings or specialised systems

Experience in automated people mover systems, baggage handling systems and/or IT systems will be advantageous

Good understanding of procurement strategies and contract management practices

Familiarity with MOF DPC Gateway Process and experience in reviewing consultants’ submissions will be an advantage

Proficient in MS Office applications

Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

Able to manage multiple tasks effectively and work well in a team environment
