About the role

Reporting to the Head of Procurement – Marketing & Retail, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead the Retail category globally within the Procurement function. We are looking for someone who can create impact, thrive in a dynamic environment and remain resilient through change.

We have offices Globally with the base for this role being out of our Singapore - St James Power Station Headquarters

Responsibilities include:

  • Performance mange our global retail category vendors ensuring close collaboration with the internal Stakeholder community.
  • Run Global and Regional sourcing exercises for Retail
  • Develop plans for retail optimization globally for store construction and third party retailer expansion.
  • Execute global strategy for retail growth, and understand how to translate strategies into regional markets.
  • Work collaboratively with Global cross functional teams including design, production, and retail operations for new program development and roll-out.
  • Willingness to lead & collaborate on projects within broader Marketing procurement scopes to support team objectives.
  • Develop and continually review robust, forward looking global category plans based on business needs taking into account regional and national differences.
  • Influence the businesses through strong stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Role model the Dyson Behaviours appropriate to both individual and the role both leading self and leading others.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and inspire confidence when faced with uncertainty and change.

  • A reputation for delivery that quickly earns credibility but also has clear strategic direction. About you

  • Strong background in retail procurement across all aspects (fixtures/fittings, print, architectural services, construction, operations, and retail marketing).
  • Experience running large scale, global RFX events
  • Evidence of managing a category through the whole life cycle, from strategy creation through procurement to supplier management
  • Understands the importance of CSER practices and applying that understanding to the procurement process and vendor selection
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to look at answers beyond the numbers.
  • Confidence and credibility with excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence Global senior level stakeholders up to Board level.
