Job Purpose This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway. As a Digital Account Manager within DEPT® you obtain and maintain the relationship with our clients. You can build solid and strong relationships, as you are an effective communicator. A person that is able to orchestrate, navigate and lead the challenges and opportunities of our clients. Someone who is curious, who listens to learn and dares to ask. A real conversation starter and team player with a strong sense of responsibility in shaping commercial healthy and delivery ready proposals, to solve the challenges of our clients, today. You will act as the client internally at DEPT® - direct DEPT® into most interesting opportunity areas → challenge the team and maintain focus on the client’s problems, making sure standard is met, that delivery is met. Take ownership of the challenges and the business problems the CMO has - in their IO, need to know them. You will have a full understanding of DEPT®’s offering - knowing how our capabilities solve client problems in other domains and have the ability to coach (mentorship). Have a business first and revenue driver approach, with the client’s benefit as a priority.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Have a full understanding of our clients’ needs and business objectives. Prioritize and manage clients’ expectations across all digital projects
  • Drive and deliver flawless client service by maintaining exceptional relationships with key decision makers
  • Responsible for effective and efficient (internal) communication to deliver quality and client happiness. Serve as the link of communication between key clients and internal team(s)
  • Research and pursue opportunities for client growth
  • Resolve issues and problems that might occur, by being open, transparent and proactive to maintain trust
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders
  • Orchestrate the organisation around the clients to navigate and lead the challenges and opportunities

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Have previous digital agency experience and a proven track record in a similar commercial client facing role.
  • Have a solid understanding of the overall dynamics of the digital industry and digital product delivery process;
  • Understands how strategy, design, technology and data are essential to deliver impactful and valuable digital products / experiences.
  • Have a strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels;
  • Understands the commercial dynamics of a digital agency.
  • Are someone who is able to “connect-the-dots” across channels and touchpoints internally as externally;
  • Have a strong work ethic and the willingness to get the job done while maintaining a supportive, empowering and positive attitude;
  • Embrace thought-leadership by staying up-to-date on industry news, technology trends and best practices;
  • Have solid written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
