Accounting & Enterprise Solutions Services - Associate $3200 - $3500

Responsibilities

• Prepare full or partial sets of accounts for client portfolios within deadlines to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Submit Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings in compliance with statutory requirements
• Produce timely accounts and financial reports adhering to clients’ policies and regulatory standards
• Manage accounting matters and maintain records for assigned client portfolios
• Support payroll functions related to client accounts to ensure accurate employee compensation
• Execute ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Outsourcing Department to support operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Demonstrate knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and accounting principles to ensure accurate financial management
• Apply understanding of Singapore Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act and related regulations for compliant tax submissions
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
• Maintain meticulous organization and initiative to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently
• Display a positive work attitude and eagerness to learn for continuous professional development
• Work independently and collaboratively within teams to achieve departmental goals

Responsibilities

• Prepare full or partial sets of accounts for client portfolios within deadlines to deliver accurate financial statements
• Submit GST filings in accordance with statutory and client requirements
• Generate timely accounts and financial reports compliant with client policies and legal standards
• Oversee full payroll functions for client portfolios to ensure accurate and timely employee payments
• Perform additional ad hoc outsourcing service tasks to support client needs
• Engage clients in planning work scopes by communicating timelines, gathering information, and addressing routine queries to enhance service delivery
• Guide junior associates by ensuring proper documentation and supporting training and development initiatives
• Serve as point-of-contact for assigned clients, reporting to Manager or Assistant Manager to facilitate smooth communication and project management

Required competencies and certifications

• Demonstrate knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and accounting principles to ensure accurate financial management
• Apply understanding of Singapore Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act and related regulations for compliant tax submissions
• Proficiently use accounting software such as XERO and MYOB to manage client accounts efficiently
