The Contracting Consultant provides expert advice and support on all contracting matters, ensuring that contracts are aligned with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements. 30Strategic Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative contracting strategies that align with the organizations longterm objectives
  • Enhance the organizations contract management processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contractual agreements to protect the organizations interests
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in contracting practices through regular training and updates on best practices Operational Roles & Responsibilities %

70Operational Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review complex Purchase requisition and ensure compliance with procurement requirement
  • Develop and review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with organizational standards
  • Provide guidance on contractual issues to various departments
  • Negotiate contract terms with suppliers and vendors to achieve the best outcomes for the organization
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for potential contractual risks
  • Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance addressing any deviations or issues
  • Analyze contracting data to identify costsaving opportunities
  • Ensure timely renewal and amendment of contracts as needed Minimum Education Required

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management/ or EquivalentProfessional Certifications Required

Minimum 16 years of service in related to SC Contracting field(s)Languages
