AVP - Cloud and Infrastructure

Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic team as an Assistant Vice President, overseeing crucial IT infrastructure and cloud platforms. This role offers an opportunity to drive modernization and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Govern and manage enterprise Azure and AWS cloud environments , ensuring stability, scalability, and security.
• Lead initiatives for infrastructure modernization, automation, and resilience improvements.
• Define and conduct regular testing of disaster recovery strategies and backup policies.
• Oversee the infrastructure and platform support for enterprise applications, including ERP and CRM systems.
• Ensure effective vendor delivery and accountability across infrastructure and data platforms.
• Manage end-user computing and service desk operations, supporting multiple locations.
• Govern IT Service Management processes, focusing on quality and continuous improvement.
• Align infrastructure operations with enterprise security standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead technical responses to major IT incidents, coordinating recovery efforts.
• Mentor and develop teams in infrastructure and cloud operations, managing vendor relationships and IT budgets.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud platforms, with hands-on management of enterprise-scale environments.
• Extensive technical expertise in Microsoft Azure and AWS, encompassing IaaS/PaaS services and networking.
• Proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Experience in operating hybrid environments, including Windows and Linux systems.
