As a Solution Architect, you act as a trusted advisor to our customers, combining deep technical expertise with strategic business insight. You help customers unlock value from their automation landscape by designing future-proof, software-defined solutions and ensuring exceptional execution throughout the system lifecycle. You bridge business needs with innovative automation architectures, positioning Schneider Electric as a strategic partner in digital transformation, sustainability, and operational excellence.### Mission of the Role
- Act as a strategic advisor to customers, guiding them in maximizing value from their industrial automation systems.
- Lead solution architecture discussions, translating customer challenges into scalable, sustainable control system solutions.
- Drive lifecycle management strategies, ensuring long-term optimization, performance, and modernization of automation assets.
- Serve as an evangelist for Universal Automation and software-defined solutions, promoting Schneider Electric’s vision.
- Identify, shape, and lead new solution opportunities, from concept to deal support.
- Contribute to business development, supporting sales activities, customer events, and industry forums.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and industry networks across key sectors.
- Promote solutions that help customers optimize energy usage and achieve sustainability targets.
(External) English Qualifications:
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Foxboro industrial automation, with proven expertise in designing and delivering complex solutions.
- Strong experience with Foxboro Control Systems; knowledge of safety systems is required or to be developed.
- Solid experience across key industries such as Energy, Chemicals, MMM (Mining, Minerals & Metals), and Consumer Packaged Goods.
- Demonstrated ability to combine technical expertise with consulting skills in customer-facing roles.
- Proven track record in delivering high-quality client presentations and technical deliverables.
- Strong understanding of automation lifecycle management and system modernization strategies.
