Role Description

The QA Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that software products meet quality standards before release by identifying bugs, validating functionality, and supporting overall product reliability. This role plays a key part in maintaining software performance, usability, and stability across applications.

The position involves designing, executing, and maintaining test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications. The QA Tester ensures that software features function correctly, meet user expectations, and comply with defined quality standards.

A key responsibility includes identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug tracking systems. This involves providing clear reproduction steps, expected vs actual results, and collaborating with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

The QA Tester also performs various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). The role ensures that new updates or changes do not negatively impact existing system functionality.

In addition, the position supports test planning and test strategy development by reviewing requirements and contributing to quality assurance processes. The QA Tester helps improve testing coverage and overall product reliability.

The role may also assist in automating test cases, maintaining testing documentation, and improving QA workflows. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking are essential for identifying issues and ensuring software quality.
