As a Mechanical Engineer, you work on technical challenges across various phases of the engineering process, from concept and design to implementation and optimization.

Depending on the project, your role may range from design-focused to more oriented toward production, analysis, or improvement. You collaborate with other disciplines such as software, electronics, and production, contributing to solutions that are technically accurate and practically feasible.

Possible tasks:

  • Designing and/or improving mechanical components and systems
  • Modeling and detailing structures in 3D CAD
  • Creating technical drawings and documentation
  • Analyzing structures (e.g., strength, tolerances, manufacturability)
  • Supporting prototypes, testing, and validations
  • Assisting with industrialization and production processes
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in design or processes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders such as suppliers, production teams, and project teams

What we expect from you

  • A higher professional education (HBO) or university degree (WO) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience with 2D, 3D, and CAD design (SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, Creo, etc.)
  • Affinity with machinery construction, high-tech systems, or product development
  • Strong social and communication skills
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm to work on various long-term projects
  • A proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and perseverance
  • Minimum B2 proficiency in Dutch
