AU PH SG The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring software reliability, test automation, and continuous quality improvement across the software development lifecycle, with a strong focus on Salesforce platforms and integrations. The role requires strong analytical skills, test automation expertise, and close collaboration with product, Salesforce, and development teams to implement robust testing strategies. Engineers must work in an agile, DevOps-driven environment, ensuring fast feedback loops, risk-based testing, and high software quality across Salesforce and integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to define testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with developers to ensure automated test coverage across Salesforce UI, APIs, and integrations.
• Design and execute test strategies for Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom components.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and performance testing.
• Prioritize testing efforts using a risk-based approach for critical business processes and integrations.
• Manage regression suites, smoke tests, defect tracking, and test documentation.
• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Drive continuous improvements in QA processes, tools, and Agile testing practices.
• Support application performance and security testing initiatives as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing for Salesforce applications, web, mobile, and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce test automation using Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, or EggPlant.
• Programming/scripting experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience with Salesforce REST/SOAP API testing and CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bamboo).
• Strong understanding of Agile, TDD, BDD, exploratory testing, and shift-left testing practices.
• Familiarity with cross-browser, cross-platform, and Salesforce Lightning UI testing.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or ALM.
• Knowledge of performance testing, security testing, Docker/Kubernetes, and Salesforce certifications are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
