Job DescriptionRole Overview

As the Service Manager, you will collaborate with every department and maintain direct client contact. You will develop optimal cleaning schedules, adapt to last-minute changes, and apply your cleaning expertise during site visits. You will go beyond surface area calculations to identify particle loading and implement effective solutions. You will also bring strong organizational and coordination skills and lead a team with a focus on customer service and commercial thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan resources, shifts, and cleaning deployments for clean-room projects
• Perform feasibility checks and provide data for quotations and costing
• Conduct on-site quality inspections and manage customer feedback
• Arrange provisioning and delivery of cleaning materials and equipment
• Onboard new staff and organize ongoing training and quality management sessions
• Ensure accurate time tracking for all cleaners
• Support precise room inspections and adjust plans for last-minute changes

Requirements

Must Haves

• Apprenticeship in building cleaning or a technical trade
• Ability to work in full protective gear (clean-room suit)
• Class B driving license
• Willingness to work nights, Sundays and public holidays
• German language proficiency at C1 level; 3–5 years in the cleaning industry with leadership exposure

Nice-to-Haves

• Knowledge of GMP / ISO clean-room classifications
• Documentation and occupational-safety experience
• Proficiency with Outlook, WhatsApp, CRM tools
• Motivational team leadership capabilities
• English language at B2 level

Location & Working Model

• Primary location: Hennigsdorf, Germany
• Alternate client sites across Berlin
• On-site role with occasional remote work by arrangement
• Daily travel within Berlin; occasional trips across Germany (~5 per year)
• Company car provided (private use allowed under tax rules)

Experience & Education

• Experience: 3–5 years in the cleaning industry; ~2 years in a leadership role preferred
• Education: Vocational training in building cleaning or a technical trade (university degree not required)
• Tools/Technologies: Outlook, WhatsApp, CRM; familiarity with GMP/ISO standards

Compensation

Base salary range: €37,000 – €42,000 gross per year (negotiable).

• Probation period: 6 months
