Job Summary**

Responsible for executing production tasks, operating manufacturing equipment, and ensuring product quality and output targets are met within Cognex Singapore Mfg. PTE. LTD.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Perform complex assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical components and systems according to established procedures and specifications.

  • Operate and monitor various production machinery and equipment, including automated test equipment (ATE), ensuring optimal performance and output.

  • Conduct in-process and final quality checks, identify defects, and initiate corrective actions to maintain high product standards.

  • Document production activities, test results, and deviations accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve production issues, improve processes, and optimize efficiency.

  • Train and mentor junior operators on standard operating procedures and best practices.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications**

  • Diploma or Nitec in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a high-tech industry.

  • Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment and test systems.

  • Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and mechanical assembly processes.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet production deadlines.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology is a plus.
