Heat Exchange Department Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the complete Heat Exchange Department, covering engineering, design, fabrication, testing, quality, and delivery of heat exchangers and related equipment in compliance with project and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead heat exchanger engineering, fabrication, testing, and delivery activities.

Oversee thermal/design calculations for shell & tube, air-cooled heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.

Ensure compliance with ASME, TEMA, API, PED, and client specifications.

Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, QA/QC, Inspection, and Project teams.

Review drawings, datasheets, calculations, MTOs, and technical documentation.

Manage client, consultant, and third-party inspection requirements.

Control project cost, schedule, manpower, and resources.

Support tenders, technical proposals, and cost estimation.

Ensure department compliance with HSE and quality standards.

Lead, mentor, and develop engineers, designers, and supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.

10–15+ years of relevant experience in heat exchanger design/manufacturing, preferably Oil & Gas.

Strong knowledge of thermal design and engineering software.

Hands-on experience in fabrication, inspection, and testing.

Strong leadership, project management, communication, and client coordination skills

Pay: From ﷼10.00 per hour
