# Senior iOS Developer

## About the Role

We are looking for a **Senior iOS Developer** to join a high-impact financial services team developing customer-facing mobile banking experiences for card management, payment initiation, and secure transactions. You will work on native iOS development using modern Swift technologies while helping modernize legacy Objective-C code and improve application architecture, testability, and accessibility.

This is a **hybrid role based in Amsterdam**, with two days per week onsite. You will work in an Agile/DevOps environment and collaborate closely with product, backend, and design teams to deliver financial products used at scale.

## Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain native iOS features for card management and payment flows.

- Develop secure transaction experiences for mobile banking users.

- Modernize and refactor legacy Objective-C code into Swift.

- Apply VIP / Clean Architecture to improve testability and separation of concerns.

- Implement and improve accessibility features, including **VoiceOver** and **Dynamic Type**.

- Support compliance with **European Accessibility Act (EAA)** requirements.

- Work with automated accessibility testing where applicable.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development practices.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines and mobile development automation.

- Collaborate with product, backend, and design teams in a DevOps culture.

- Contribute to the continued modernization and improvement of the mobile banking ecosystem.

## Required Qualifications

- **8–10 years of iOS development experience**.

- Strong experience with **Swift**.

- Strong experience with **UIKit** and **SwiftUI**.

- Deep understanding of **VIP / Clean Architecture**, or VIPER with the ability to adapt to VIP / Clean Architecture.

- Experience implementing **mobile accessibility**, including VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.

- Experience working with CI/CD practices and tools such as **Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI**.

- Based in or able to commute to **Amsterdam** for the required hybrid schedule.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with automated accessibility testing.

- Experience in **financial services, banking, or fintech**.

- Experience specifically within the **card and payment domain** is strongly preferred.
