Role Summary

To manage the Quantity Surveying function, ensuring effective cost control, budgeting, contract administration, variations, and commercial management across construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies for UAE construction projects.

Manage suppliers, subcontractors, RFQs, evaluations, negotiations, and purchase orders.

Identify and prequalify UAE-based vendors and ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.

Coordinate with Project Management, Technical, Commercial, and Finance teams to meet project requirements.

Resolve procurement, technical, and commercial issues with suppliers and subcontractors.

Monitor vendor performance, procurement schedules, costs, quality, and risks.

Prepare monthly and quarterly procurement reports for management.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, project requirements, contracts, and UAE regulations.

Act as a procurement advisor to Project Management and proactively manage procurement risks and challenges.

Requirements

* Manage procurement strategies and activities for UAE construction projects.

* Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.

* Manage RFQs, quotations, comparisons, purchase orders, and contracts.

* Ensure timely delivery, competitive costs, and compliance with project requirements.

* Coordinate with Project, Commercial, Technical, and Finance teams.

* Monitor vendor performance and resolve procurement-related issues.

* Prepare procurement reports and provide recommendations to management.

* Proactively manage procurement risks and support successful project delivery.
