Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor (Infrastructure) role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Quantity Surveyor will manage cost-related activities for road and infrastructure projects, including preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), monitoring budgets, and supporting tender evaluations. Daily responsibilities include tracking project expenditures, preparing cost reports, assisting in cost planning, and supporting contract administration and variation claims. The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate measurements, value engineering, and adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in cost control and cost management for infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and updating BOQ and related quantity take-offs.
  • Skills in cost planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and value engineering.
  • Ability to prepare clear, accurate cost reporting for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with standard forms of contracts and relevant construction regulations in the UAE.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and MS Excel skills; experience with QS or estimating software is an advantage.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Previous experience in road and infrastructure construction in the Middle East is highly beneficial.
