Senior Finance Officer

Role Description The Senior Finance Officer is a part-time role with a hybrid work arrangement based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management to support the organization’s mental health and wellness initiatives. Key day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies. The Senior Finance Officer will analyze financial data, provide insights to support decision-making, and collaborate with leadership on strategic financial initiatives. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams and external partners, managing financial documentation, and contributing to process improvements in finance operations.

Qualifications

• Strong finance and financial reporting skills, with the ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements.
• Robust analytical skills for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
• Effective communication skills to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
• Experience in financial management within nonprofits, healthcare, or wellness organizations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity, and uphold integrity and confidentiality.
