Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Organic Synthesis R&D Scientist specialized in agrochemical field. The role focuses on the custom synthesis, route design, process optimization and scale-up of pesticide technicals (API) and key intermediates. The candidate will independently complete laboratory process development, solve technical bottlenecks in synthesis, and promote the smooth transformation from lab-scale synthesis to pilot and industrial production, supporting the commercialization of agrochemical products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop synthetic routes for agrochemical APIs, high-value pesticide intermediates and fine chemical products, conduct literature and patent investigation to optimize synthetic schemes.
• Carry out lab-scale organic synthesis experiments, screen and optimize reaction conditions (temperature, pressure, catalyst, solvent, feeding ratio, reaction time), improve reaction yield, product purity and process stability.
• Solve core technical problems in agrochemical synthesis, including side reaction control, impurity separation and identification, low-selectivity and low-yield reaction optimization, to meet industrial production standards.
• Complete product separation, purification and structural identification; proficiently analyze and interpret NMR, HPLC, LC-MS and other detection data to confirm product structure and purity.
• Participate in process scale-up from lab to pilot plant and industrial production, evaluate amplification risks, summarize scale-up rules, and provide technical support for production workshops.
• Standardize experimental records, compile R&D reports, process documents and technical summary materials; assist in patent application and technical achievement sorting.
• Track global advanced agrochemical synthesis technologies and industry trends, participate in new product and new process reserve development, and enrich the company’s agrochemical product pipeline.
