Job description

The Attach & Train Programme is a structured talent development programme designed to build skilled talent for Singapore’s advanced biomedical manufacturing sector through practical, industry-based training that develops the technical skills and capabilities needed to support the industry’s current and future workforce needs. 

As a Training & Document Control Trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals during a 15-month structured training programme. You will help ensure that the site’s training and document-management systems effectively support Quality and Operational objectives while remaining compliant with applicable AbbVie and regulatory requirements. 

Due to the nature of the programme and its eligibility requirements, applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Supports the Quality Training Department in the following: 

  • Set up of employee training plan in Learning Management System (LMS) 

  • Entry of training information and records into LMS 

  • Keep training file records up-to-date and for record retention as applicable 

  • Review and maintenance of training materials 

  • Schedule, conduct and coordinate training courses for the department as needed 

  • Maintain and publish training metrics 

  • Conduct orientation/training sessions 

  • May serve as the Site Quality representative in relation to GMP training program where necessary. 

  • Administer processing of all documentation Change Plan/Requests for creation or changing of AbbVie Operations Singapore documents through the current AbbVie Document Management System following applicable policies, process and procedures as part of documentation lifecycle management. 

  • Responsible for Controlled Issuance of paper records (e.g. batch records / cleaning batch records, logbooks, SOPs) distributed to respective areas for execution, and ensure compliance with AbbVie policy.  

  • Support record reconciliation, archival and retention of GxP documents. Assure all controlled documents are retained according to AbbVie policies and procedures. 

  • Maintain compliance for Site GMP documentation lifecycle management activities including but not limited to document change management, archival/retrieval, controlled document issuance and GMP third party record management to ensure compliance with cGMP and Abbvie data integrity requirements  

  • Support global training and documentation team initiatives or other site improvement projects. 

 

What You’ll Learn 

  • End-to-end Quality Systems expertise through hands-on experience with GMP training, learning management systems, and controlled document lifecycle management in a regulated manufacturing environment. 

  • Practical knowledge of cGMP and data integrity by supporting training compliance, document change control, record issuance, archival, and retention processes. 

  • Cross-functional project and stakeholder-management skills through coordinating training sessions, publishing performance metrics, and contributing to site and global continuous-improvement initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science (e.g., Biology or Chemistry), Pharmacy, Engineering, or an equivalent field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. 

  • Experience with Training and Documentation Management Systems and an understanding of Training & Documentation Lifecycle Management are advantageous. 

  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Strong communicator with experience engaging internal stakeholders. 

  • Highly motivated, independent, organized, and possesses a growth mindset. 

  • Able to work as a team player and collaborate with different departments and all levels of the organization. 

  • Agile and able to respond to urgent business requests.
