Job description

The Senior Manager Student Exchange Academic Program reports to the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs and serves as the key academic liaison to the International Exchange Office, ensuring strong alignment between institutional partnerships and faculty priorities. The role works closely with academic departments to design and formalize discipline-specific study abroad pathways, and supports faculty in integrating exchange opportunities into the curriculum. The Manager promotes student participation, monitors and evaluates academic outcomes of exchange programs, and uses data-driven insights to enhance program effectiveness and student success. The role also identifies and explores potential funding opportunities to support and expand study abroad initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary academic liaison to the International Exchange Office, ensuring alignment between institutional exchange agreements and faculty/department priorities.
  • Work with academic departments to develop and formalize discipline-specific study abroad pathways.
  • Advise faculty and program leaders on integrating exchange opportunities into the curriculum and promoting opportunities amongst the students.
  • Monitor and evaluate the academic outcomes of exchange programs, using data and feedback to refine pathways and improve student success.
  • Explore potential funding avenues for study abroad programs.

Qualifications And Skills Required

  • Master's degree in any field.
  • 10 years experience working in academia. Experience working with discipline specific internationalization opportunities is required.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the international exchange landscape.
  • Ability to communicate across academic disciplines.
