About SurgeonsLab: SurgeonsLab is a global MedTech company developing high-fidelity physical and virtual surgical and interventional simulation technologies. Our platforms support hospitals, surgeons, academic institutions, research centers, and medical-device companies in procedural training, clinical education, product demonstrations, device development, testing, and innovation. We operate at the intersection of medicine, engineering, and advanced simulation, serving customers across Europe, the United States, and international markets.
The Opportunity We are looking for a commercially driven individual who wants to build or develop a career in MedTech. Previous MedTech sales experience is not mandatory.
We are particularly interested in experience in: B2B Technical Sales | SaaS | Life Sciences | Biotechnology | Diagnostics | Engineering Solutions | Capital or Scientific Equipment | Healthcare. You should already understand how professional B2B selling works and have the curiosity to learn technically complex medical products quickly. Location: This is a Basel-based commercial and field role. We welcome candidates based in Switzerland, Swiss/EU/EFTA nationals willing to work from Basel, eligible cross-border candidates from neighbouring countries (including under the Swiss G-permit framework), and those already holding Swiss work authorization.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Development

Identify, qualify, and develop new hospital, academic, research, and MedTech accounts

Create and execute account-specific sales strategies

Own the full sales cycle: Prospecting Qualification Discovery Demonstration Proposal Negotiation Closing

Build long-term relationships with surgeons, physicians, clinical educators, engineers, procurement, researchers, and MedTech executives

Develop new business while expanding existing accounts

Act as the commercial interface between customers and our engineering, clinical, product, and R&D teams Product Demonstration & Clinical Engagement

Learn our simulation technologies, relevant anatomy, procedural workflows, and clinical use cases

Conduct onsite and virtual demonstrations, translating technical capabilities into customer value

Support workshops, training programs, clinical education, and product evaluations

Attend medical conferences, scientific meetings, and industry events Market Development

Identify new opportunities, applications, and customer segments across Europe and internationally

Monitor healthcare, MedTech, and technology trends; gather customer and competitor intelligence

Support product launches and provide structured feedback to leadership, product, and engineering CRM & Commercial Discipline

Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, and reliable pipeline forecasts

Record meetings, requirements, and next actions; participate in pipeline and account reviews

Maintain high standards of follow-up and documentation Structured Sales Methodology
Demonstrated practical use of a structured sales methodology is required, such as MEDDIC / MEDDPICC | SPIN Selling | Challenger | Sandler | Consultative Selling | Value-Based Selling.
You should be able to show how you have used it to identify needs and pain points, qualify opportunities, identify decision-makers and economic buyers, develop champions, run discovery, handle objections, build account strategies, forecast, and progress complex B2B deals to close. We care more about how you apply a methodology than about formal training.
Languages: Excellent professional English is mandatory, plus professional working proficiency in at least two of: German | French | Italian | Spanish | Dutch. Other Western European languages are also valued; German and/or French are particularly advantageous. You should be comfortable presenting, running discovery, and building relationships across cultures.
Candidate Profile: Education: Bachelor's or master's preferred in Business, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Medical Technology, Economics, or Marketing. Equivalent experience considered.
Experience: Entry-level through mid-senior. Relevant backgrounds include technical B2B sales, SaaS, life sciences, biotech, diagnostics, engineering solutions, capital or laboratory equipment, healthcare technology, medical devices, or other complex solution selling. MedTech experience is an advantage, not a requirement.

Travel is an important part of this role — throughout Switzerland, across Europe, and internationally — for customer meetings, demonstrations, workshops, conferences, clinical programs, training, and partner meetings. Travel is not limited to a fixed territory or percentage. Occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight travel may be required, particularly for conferences and international events.
Work Authorization
Applications are welcome from Swiss and EU/EFTA nationals, holders of appropriate Swiss work authorization, and eligible cross-border (G-permit) candidates. Other situations will be assessed individually under Swiss requirements.
Compliance
The successful candidate must complete MedTech compliance, ethical-sales, product, clinical, and procedural training, plus hospital credentialing where applicable. Accurate and responsible representation of SurgeonsLab technologies is essential.

Compensation
Startup-oriented package based on responsibility, performance, and progression.
Indicative annual gross base salary: CHF 65,000 – CHF 95,000, plus performance-based variable compensation. Final compensation depends on experience, commercial capability, languages, and responsibility.
