Job description

WHO WE ARE

Leonteq is a Swiss fintech company and a leading marketplace for structured investment solutions. Combining capital markets expertise with proprietary technology, the company provides access to a wide range of structured investment opportunities.

Entrepreneurial thinking is central to how we work. Expertise is valued, ownership is encouraged, and employees are empowered to actively shape their areas of responsibility. Innovation and continuous improvement are part of daily life, making Leonteq a dynamic and collaborative place to grow your career.

About the role

You will join the Financial Engineering team within Front Office, alongside our Digital Offering activity. This is a front office business development role: you work next to Sales, Structuring and Trading, and your day-to-day impact is measured on what our sales teams and clients can actually do on the platform.

Your focus is LYNQS, Leonteq's platform used daily across the structured products lifecycle, from pricing to lifecycle management. You sit at the intersection of business, clients and IT: translating user needs into specifications, configuring the products and payoffs available on the platform, validating what gets built, and automating the team's day-to-day with your own tools.

At Leonteq, we are a leading player in the financial industry, renowned for our innovative approaches, our commitment to excellence and our entrepreneurial spirit. Our organisational values people together, passion, dedication, quality and expertise are our guiding north star.

What you'll do

  • Act as a first point of contact for Sales, clients and internal front office users on LYNQS, understand their needs and turn them into actionable requirements
  • Onboard new products and payoffs on LYNQS: model the payoff logic and configure the product templates that drive pricing inputs, actions and client-facing displays. This is where you build a deep, hands-on understanding of how structured products are actually constructed
  • Write functional specifications for new LYNQS features, working hand in hand with the rest of the team and in close collaboration with Structuring, Sales and IT
  • Own the functional testing of LYNQS tickets and validate releases before they reach Sales and clients
  • Contribute to release coordination between front office stakeholders and IT
  • Build and improve internal Python tools that automate user management and recurring front office tasks
  • Work alongside your own AI agent: extend it with custom skills, tools and MCP servers in Python to automate your recurring tasks, the more you build, the more leverage you get on everything else you do
  • Produce reports and analytics on platform usage and client activity for Sales and management

What you'll need

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
  • Solid understanding of vanilla options. You are comfortable with calls, puts, payoff diagrams, strikes, maturities and the basic drivers of option value
  • Hands-on experience with Python, you write scripts to solve your own problems. Familiarity with AI-assisted coding is expected; curiosity about agentic tooling (custom tools, MCP, automation) will take you far here
  • Strong analytical mindset and genuine attention to detail, you are the last line of defence before a release goes live in front of clients
  • Clear communication in English, both with front office users and engineers
  • A proactive, team-oriented and organised approach: you can juggle several topics and decide what matters first, in a fast-paced trading floor environment
  • A real plus: knowledge of structured products (autocallables, barrier reverse convertibles, capital-protected notes...), SQL, or an additional language (French/German)

Why you'll love working here

  • Modern facilities in a prime location
  • Two intensive one-week off-site training programs designed to accelerate your early career development
  • Upon successful completion of the twelve-month Leonteq Graduate Program, the possibility of a permanent full-time role, setting you up for long-term success at Leonteq
  • Opportunities to gain cross-departmental insights and develop a holistic understanding of the structured investment product value chain
  • Room to experiment with AI and automation on concrete front office use cases
