Job description
GIS Specialist – South Holland region
We are looking for an experienced GIS Specialist to join a large asset-intensive infrastructure organisation in the South Holland region.
This opportunity can be structured as a deta-vast / payroll construction , meaning you would initially be employed via payroll/secondment, with the intention to transition into a permanent position with the end client after the agreed period.
The role combines GIS platform management, geo-data management, spatial analysis and asset information , with a strong focus on maintaining accurate infrastructure data and supporting data-driven maintenance initiatives. its a hybrid role with 2-3 days onsite presence required in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the GIS environment, including Esri ArcGIS Pro / ArcGIS Enterprise
- Maintain accurate and reliable geographical data relating to infrastructure assets
- Manage GIS data models, access rights, releases and integrations
- Perform spatial and geo-data analyses
- Combine GIS data with asset, sensor and maintenance data
- Develop dashboards, maps and visualisations
- Support integrations with systems such as SAP S/4HANA, OTL and object registers
- Contribute to condition-based and predictive maintenance initiatives
- Monitor and improve GIS data quality and consistency
