We're committed to long-term value creation, driven by technology and our core values: Authenticity, Grit, Curiosity, Humor, and Impact. If you are a forward-thinker who thrives in a diverse, global setting, we want to hear from you.
Make an Impact
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and collaborative Translation Specialist (f/m/x) to join our Global Production Studio team in Grabenstätt, Germany. In this role, you will work globally and cross-functionally to drive best-in-class translation processes, high quality standards, and efficient timelines across the EMEA region. Acting as the key operational link between internal teams and our external translation agency, you will ensure brand-consistent localization and complete visibility of content across our brand portfolio. This is a hybrid position based in our Grabenstätt office. You will be required to work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This role reports directly to the Director Global Production.
What you will do in this role:
- Vendor & Process Management
- Define, streamline, and manage end-to-end EMEA translation workflows with our external translation agency, proofreaders, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Train and support external agencies on brand-specific "Tone of Voice" guidelines, ensuring brand messaging remains consistent across all European markets.
- Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), evaluate vendor performance, and partner closely with the agency on continuous process improvements and reporting.
- Project Prioritization & Budget Control
- Evaluate and pre-check incoming translation projects for feasibility, timeline alignment, quality standards, and resource requirements.
- Prioritize competing projects dynamically to balance exceptional quality, operational flexibility, and turnaround efficiency.
- Manage the EMEA translation budget, ensuring cost efficiency, accurate resource allocation, and strict adherence to financial targets.
- Content & System Governance
- Maintain and continuously update the global translation database, terminology assets, and brand style guides.
- Develop localized training materials and onboarding documentation for internal team members and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global production and marketing teams to establish an integrated translation calendar for enhanced planning and scheduling.
- Regional Collaboration & Support
- Serve as the primary regional point of contact for global teams to resolve translation-related inquiries, localization challenges, and workflow bottlenecks.
- Support cross-functional regional initiatives with localized content management expertise and linguistic quality assurance.
Who You Are
- You hold a completed vocational training degree or university degree in Translation, Multilingual Communication, Foreign Languages, or a related field.
- You bring relevant experience in translation project management, content management, or localization workflows, ideally within an international corporate environment.
- You have familiarity with CAT tools, translation memory systems, and localization software.
- You possess exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to prioritize heavy workloads and consistently meet tight deadlines.
- You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a solution-oriented approach.
- You are comfortable collaborating across departments in a fast-paced, matrixed, and international work setting.
- You are fluent in both English and German; proficiency in additional European languages (French, Italian, or Spanish) is considered a strong asset.
What We Offer
- Your annual gross base salary will range between €45.000 and €50.000, depending on your experience, qualifications, and skills relevant to the role.
- Employee discount
- Annual bonus opportunity
- Additional holiday and Christmas payments
- 6 weeks of paid vacation per year
- Extra time off with our 'Empower Me Days' – depending on your working hours, you will receive 1 to 2 additional days of paid leave per year
- Capital-forming benefits (where applicable)
- Company pension plan
- Complimentary beverages
- Bicycle leasing through BusinessBike
