This is only possible through extraordinary speed, innovation and efficiency. As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will be part of the EMEA Finance Operations Team. This team within Finance Operations is focusing on Accounts Receivable Activities for Automotive Sales, Autobody, Energy and Servicing. You will work closely with leadership on forecasts, plans, and business cases to enhance and develop our processes and improve our AR balances. Your responsibilities will also include stakeholder management, reporting, data management, cash application and AR collection activities. You will cooperate and liaise with various internal teams and use your problem-solving skills during your work to manage the balances.

With this role, you will also be able to contribute to various financial process improvement initiatives and ensure a continuous improvement on Financial Operations processes, for more efficient workflows.

What You'll Do* Oversee daily cash application processes, ensuring accurate allocation of payments to customer accounts

  • Investigate and resolve aged accounts receivable items to maintain healthy AR balances
  • Review and analyze accounts receivable aging to monitor and manage overdue payments
  • Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge
  • Resolve queries related to received, missing, or unidentified payments in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure accuracy of data and reconciliation of received cash in the ERP system
  • Liaise with other Tesla departments, such as Treasury, Delivery, IT developers, and Service Teams, to support cross-functional collaboration

What You'll Bring* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, or equivalent

  • Relevant accounts receivable/financial analyst experience
  • Advanced Excel skills. Experience with Power Bl is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Accuracy and analytical mindset
  • Working knowledge of ERP Systems, like Microsoft Dynamics AX or SAP
  • Fluent in English. Other European languages considered an advantage
