Engineering Support Technician

To provide technical support across the engineering, procurement, construction and assembly phases of offshore oil & gas platforms in Rotterdam. Working hands-on with AVEVA E3D and Navisworks to create, manage and update 3D models.

You will also integrate engineering data with construction and execution information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date visualisations for project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, validate, manage and export 3D models using AVEVA E3D .
• Manage and update Navisworks Manage models with construction, progress and quality information.
• Generate tool and component lists using CAE 3D queries and link 3D data with engineering and execution information.
• Support construction and assembly teams with up-to-date 3D visualisations reflecting physical progress and equipment status.

Required Qualifications

• Strong practical experience with AVEVA E3D (CAE 3D) and Navisworks Manage .
• Experience creating, validating, updating and exporting 3D models.
• Experience working with 3D engineering data, model queries and technical databases .
• Understanding of construction and assembly processes and the use of 3D models for progress tracking and field execution.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary engineering environment , preferably within offshore, oil & gas or FPSO projects.
• Good understanding of engineering data and its integration with construction, procurement and project execution information.
