Junior Engineer, Cost

We are seeking a highly experienced Junior Cost Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry . The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in EPC projects , responsible for managing procurement activities and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials to meet project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor actual costs against project budgets.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, commitments, and accruals.
• Assist with cost forecasts and cash-flow updates.
• Identify and report cost variances.
• Maintain cost and change-control records.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of procurement and expediting experience in oil & gas, preferably with EPC contractors or operators.
• 3+ years of EPC Experience is Mandatory
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of vendor management.
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.
