To strengthen our Excellence Hub in Pilsen, we are looking for
IT Specialist for EDI Configuration
As an IT Specialist for EDI Configuration and Customer Onboarding, you will be mainly responsible for implementing and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes between Wacker Chemie and our customers via our EDI platforms. You will ensure smooth and efficient onboarding of new customers and support the continuous improvement of our EDI solutions.
Your responsibilities:
Configure and set up EDI connections between Wacker Chemie and customers through the EDI platforms.
Act as a project manager for the onboarding of new customers, including planning, coordination, and monitoring all necessary steps for successful integration.
Conduct testing and quality assurance measures to ensure functionality and reliability of EDI systems.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop solutions for EDI processes.
Monitor EDI system performance and perform troubleshooting as needed.
Document EDI processes and create user manuals and training materials.
Actively participate in projects to advance the digital supply chain and integrate new technologies.
2nd Level Support for EDI incidents
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field or experience in configuring and managing EDI systems, preferably with knowledge of the Elemica or Aimtec platform
Solid knowledge of Order-to-Cash SAP ERP processes and applications is required
Proficient in English, written and spoken
Understanding of supply chain business processes and the process industry
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information
Team player with the ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
