Job description

Global trade runs on more than banking.

Nexent Bank exists to keep trade moving — the ships, the shipments, the supply chains that connect economies across borders. Making that happen takes trade finance specialists, yes, but just as much it takes the engineers who build our platforms, the data specialists who turn transactions into insight, and everyone in between. Whatever your craft, you’re solving a piece of the same puzzle.

That means our colleagues aren’t just employees; they’re the specialists others turn to when things get complicated — on a deal, in the code, or in the data. We back that expertise with room to grow, decisions made close to the work, and a culture that trusts you to know your craft.

About Financial Consolidation & Reporting team

The Financial Consolidation & Reporting team sits within the Finance Division. We deliver the Group's consolidated financial, management, and regulatory reporting, coordinating activities across branches and subsidiaries. Group budgeting is another key focus, alongside shaping broader reporting and accounting initiatives. Close partnership with stakeholders — including auditors, business teams, and Finance colleagues across the Group — underpins everything we do.

The role

You will play a key role in ensuring that Group financial and regulatory reporting provides an accurate and reliable view of the bank's performance. Working across branches, subsidiaries, and Finance teams, you will help translate complex financial data into clear reporting and insights that support management, regulators, and external stakeholders. You will also contribute to reporting improvements and automation initiatives as the reporting landscape continues to evolve

What you’ll do

  • Deliver reliable Group financial and regulatory reporting, contributing to consolidated financial statements, management reporting, and regulatory submissions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Work across our international organization, coordinating reporting activities with branches, subsidiaries, and Finance teams to provide consistent and timely information.
  • Turn financial data into meaningful insights through analysis, reconciliations, and controls, helping management understand performance and key financial developments.
  • Support planning and decision-making by contributing to budgeting processes and explaining variances against budget and prior periods.
  • Strengthen and improve our reporting framework by supporting accounting policy implementation, responding to audit requests, and driving process and control enhancements.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, consolidation, audit, or a comparable finance role.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and an interest in financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess information from different sources, identify issues, and draw well-supported conclusions.
  • Experience with financial data collection, analysis, and preparation of clear reports for different audiences.
  • Comfortable working with reporting systems, databases, and Microsoft Excel; experience with consolidation or business intelligence tools is an advantage.
  • Able to plan and prioritize work independently, meet reporting deadlines, and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with international stakeholders. Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, flexible, and improvement-oriented approach, with attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.

What we offer

  • Fully covered pension contribution
  • Competitive salary and personal development budget
  • Hybrid working environment
  • 4 weeks per year working from anywhere
  • Home office budget and monthly internet allowance
