Planning Engineer – Civil (Offshore)

Our client is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer – Civil (Offshore) to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination to ensure the timely and efficient execution of offshore civil projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other planning tools.
• Establish project work breakdown structures (WBS), activity sequences, durations, and milestones.
• Monitor project progress and identify critical paths to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and assess Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay analyses.
• Conduct critical path and schedule impact analysis.
• Support resource planning and allocation for efficient project execution.
• Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Prepare planning reports, progress updates, and management presentations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project planning within the Oil & Gas / Offshore construction industry.
• Strong execution knowledge with the ability to understand construction sequences and activity durations.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and project planning methodologies.
• Experience in critical path analysis, EOT claims, resource planning, and project controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Based in or willing to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
