Anti-Money Laundering Officer

Hiring: AML Officer – Zurich, Switzerland

We are looking for an experienced AML Officer to join our team.

We are looking for a professional who has already worked as an AML Officer and has practical experience operating within the Swiss AML regulatory environment.

Mandatory Requirements

* Minimum 2 years of professional AML / compliance experience

* Previous experience acting as an AML Officer / AML Responsible Officer

* Profile and professional experience suitable for VQF approval/recognition as AML Officer

* Strong practical knowledge of the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA/GwG)

* Good understanding of VQF requirements and SRO compliance obligations

* Experience with KYC/KYB, CDD, EDD, PEPs, sanctions screening and transaction monitoring

* Experience assessing and documenting high-risk customers and transactions

* Knowledge of MROS reporting obligations and suspicious activity escalation procedures

* Experience maintaining AML policies, procedures, risk assessments and compliance documentation

* Experience dealing with VQF reviews, audits or regulatory requests is highly desirable

* Ability to work in Switzerland

Particularly Relevant Experience

We are especially interested in candidates who have previously been:

AML Officer / AML Responsible Officer

Deputy AML Officer

MLRO / Financial Crime Compliance Officer

within a Swiss VQF-affiliated financial intermediary or a comparable Swiss regulated business.

Previous experience in payments, fintech, cryptocurrency/digital assets, financial intermediation or other VQF-supervised activities would be a strong advantage.
