agap2 is a European engineering services company founded in 2005, specialized in industrial and infrastructure sectors. We support key players in Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure, Transportation, and High-Tech industries.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop primary and/or secondary systems for electrical substations (HV/MV), including protection, control, and automation schemes
  • Prepare and review electrical schematics , single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and protection concepts
  • Perform power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination) and support grid integration activities
  • Specify, select, and validate electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and control systems
  • Collaborate with utilities, EPC contractors, and equipment suppliers to ensure technical compliance and project execution
  • Support testing, commissioning, and validation of substation systems on-site and in laboratory environments
  • Contribute to applied engineering improvements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of grid technologies and standards
  • Document and present technical solutions, reports, and project deliverables

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on power systems or energy engineering
  • Experience in primary and/or secondary design for substations or utility-scale electrical systems
  • Familiarity with protection and control systems , including relays and SCADA/automation
  • Strong knowledge of power system analysis tools (e.g., load flow, short-circuit calculation software)
  • Experience with electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar)
  • Hands-on approach to testing, commissioning, and field validation
  • Structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
  • Fluent in English and German
