• You will assess customer enquiries and PV system designs for technical feasibility and opportunities for optimisation.
• You will produce detailed drawings of ground-mounted photovoltaic installations / solar farms in AutoCAD and, where necessary, PVcase.
• You will develop project-specific string cabling designs for ground-mounted PV systems.
• You will determine cable lengths, cable types, connectors, branch connections and other necessary system components.
• You will draw up technical bills of quantities to serve as the basis for costing, quotation preparation, materials planning and production.
• You will clarify technical queries directly with our customers and coordinate the internal handover to Sales, Purchasing, Production Planning, Manufacturing and Logistics.
• You will assist new customers with the initial installation of pre-assembled cable harnesses and provide support directly on site where required.
• You will document changes and project requirements and incorporate feedback from customers and construction sites into the further development of our products and processes. What you bring to the role

• Completed technical training, e.g. as an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d), an electronics technician for energy and building services (m/f/d), electrical installation technician (m/f/d) or master electrician (m/f/d), or alternatively a technical degree or equivalent qualification – ideally in the fields of electrical engineering, energy engineering, renewable energies, design or technical planning
• Ideally, experience in the planning of ground-mounted PV systems, solar farm layouts, DC cabling or similar infrastructure projects
• Alternatively, you are a recent graduate with a good understanding of technical matters and an interest in photovoltaics and cabling solutions
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with PVcase would be an advantage
• Ability to understand technical drawings and plant designs and to derive concrete solutions from them
• A meticulous, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Enjoyment of liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
• Willingness to undertake occasional customer and site assignments
• Good written and spoken German (at least C1) and English (at least B2)
