Store Manager – Gina Tricot (Utrecht, opening November 2026)

NRG is recruiting on behalf of Gina Tricot, a well-established and expanding international fashion brand, as they continue their growth in the Netherlands and prepare to open their second store in the country, this time in Utrecht. The new store is opening in November 2026.

We are now looking for an experienced, passionate and inspiring Store Manager who will play a key role in building this new store from the ground up. About the role

As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of the store’s daily operations, team leadership, and overall performance. The role is highly operational and requires a strong presence on the shop floor, working side-by-side with your team to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

You will be supported by an Assistant Store Manager who will work closely alongside you in the daily operation.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team of up to 30 Sales Associates in total, scheduled across different shifts.
• Leading and participating in daily store operations.
• Ensuring excellent customer service and a welcoming, inspiring store environment.
• Overseeing scheduling, administration, sales follow-up, and KPI performance.
• Being structured and organized when it comes to planning, scheduling, and coordinating the store team, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.
• Executing campaigns, visual updates, and maintaining a strong brand identity.
• Identifying business opportunities and driving the store’s strategic growth in the Dutch market.
• Building the store culture from day one and representing Gina Tricot’s values.
• Working closely with the Assistant Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, strong team leadership, and continuous development of the store.

You are:

• A confident communicator with strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and unafraid to think outside the box.

• Highly structured and organized, particularly when it comes to planning, staffing, and scheduling.
• Flexible regarding working hours, including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods (e.g. Christmas).
• Motivated by sales, performance, and achieving ambitious targets.
• Passionate about fashion, trends, and visual retail expression.

You bring:

• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Several years of experience as a Store Manager — preferably within fashion or fast fashion.
• Proven experience coaching and developing teams toward strong performance.
• Experience leading larger teams is highly meritorious, particularly experience managing teams of approximately 20–30 people.
• Strong interest in KPIs, sales analytics, and operational retail excellence.
• Experience in recruiting and building new teams.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to create and manage staff schedules effectively in a busy retail environment.
