Procurement Engineer

EMAR Saudi for Energy Works is looking for an experienced and results-driven Procurement Engineer to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities for construction and electrical projects.

• Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.

• Review technical specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.

• Obtain and analyze quotations, prepare technical and commercial comparisons, and negotiate competitive terms.

• Issue purchase orders and coordinate with engineering, project, and finance teams.

• Monitor deliveries, procurement schedules, and supplier performance.

• Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in construction or contracting projects with National Grid Saudi, SEC, or SE.

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and technical materials.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.

• Good command of English.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and meet project deadlines.
