Project Engineer – IT Systems Implementation

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE | Full-time

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a full time hands-on Project Engineer to take end-to-end responsibility for the implementation, configuration and commissioning of technical systems at project sites in Abu Dhabi.

Salary: AED 8,000–10,000 per month (all-inclusive), depending on experience and technical capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from installation through testing, commissioning and handover
• Configure Microsoft Windows operating systems and software applications
• Set up users, system access, devices and peripherals
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/TCP-IP networking and connectivity
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network-related issues
• Coordinate technical requirements, documentation and project submissions
• Liaise with suppliers and technical support teams when required
• Take ownership of problems and drive them through to resolution

What We Are Looking For

• 3–7 years' experience in IT systems implementation, project engineering or a similar hands-on technical role
• Good practical knowledge of networking and Microsoft Windows environments
• Experience with software installation, configuration and system setup
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
• Self-disciplined, organised and able to manage priorities
• Someone who takes initiative rather than waits for instructions
• Good communication and documentation skills

This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on, taking ownership and solving technical problems independently .
