Job Title: Business Partner Manager Digital Operations Experience: 8+ years
Work Location: Abu Dhabi
Contract Duration: 4 months Fixed Education: Bachelor's degree
7.1 Education And Professional Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or another relevant quantitative / commercial discipline - essential.
Recognized professional finance qualification such as ACCA, CIMA / CGMA, ACA, CPA or equivalent - strongly preferred.
CFA, MBA, project management or project controls certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) - advantageous where supported by relevant practical experience.
Strong understanding of management accounting, financial planning, project economics, financial controls and relevant accounting principles.
7.2 Experience Minimum 8 years of relevant post-graduate experience in Finance, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, management accounting, commercial finance, project finance / controls or a closely related discipline; 10+ years preferred for candidates operating at full manager level.
At least 5 years of substantive experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business partnering, with direct responsibility for challenging business assumptions and advising management.
Demonstrated experience controlling significant projects or project portfolios, including budget baselines, commitments, actuals, accruals, forecasts, variations and expected final cost.
Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and presenting financial analysis, recommendations and risks to executive or senior management audiences.
Experience supporting procurement, commercial evaluation, contracts, vendor negotiations or contract change control.
Experience in a capital-intensive, infrastructure, utilities, energy, technology, digital, telecom, engineering or similarly project-driven environment - strongly preferred.
Experience supporting Digital / IT / cybersecurity expenditure and/or operational / engineering functions - advantageous; direct expertise in both is ideal but not mandatory where the candidate demonstrates strong transferable project and commercial finance capability.
Experience in a regulated or government-related environment and exposure to regulatory submissions - advantageous.
7.3 Technical And Commercial Capabilities Advanced budgeting, long-range planning, rolling forecasting and scenario analysis.
Project controlling, cost control, earned / milestone-based financial tracking and forecast-to-complete disciplines.
CAPEX and OPEX analysis, project capitalization concepts, accrual accounting and cost classification.
Business case review, financial modelling, cost-benefit analysis, sensitivity analysis and investment appraisal.
Commercial and procurement finance, including pricing structures, tender evaluation, payment terms, contingency, contract variations and value-for-money assessment.
Variance analysis, management reporting and executive-level performance insights.
Financial governance, internal controls, audit trail and Delegation of Authority concepts.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; ability to work efficiently with large and complex datasets.
Experience with ERP, EPM / planning and reporting tools; Power BI or equivalent analytics capability is highly desirable.
Ability to connect operational, project and commercial data to financial outcomes rather than relying solely on ledger-based reporting.
