After another year of strong growth, we are excited to expand our team in Amsterdam with 2 Internship/Trainee opportunities. This is more than just an internship – if you excel during the 6–9 month programme, you may secure a full-time role with us.

Role Overview

As a Sales Intern/Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in international business and sales. You will be involved in everything from market research and lead generation to client communication and account support. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about the organic food industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconnect with existing contacts, leads, and past customers
• Prospect, score, and qualify new business opportunities
• Generate interest through cold emailing and outreach
• Support sales with spot offers and client follow-ups
• Research potential partners: factories, retailers, traders, importers, distributors, wholesalers
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Assist in purchasing tasks and preparing samples
• Join client meetings and internal sales discussions
• Support daily operations and ad hoc office tasks

Qualifications

• Education: Current student or recent graduate in Business, Management, Sales, Communications, or related field
• Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of other European languages (German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, etc.) is highly valued
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
• Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Eligibility: EU nationals or international students in the Netherlands with a valid BSN
