Job description

Our company, is seeking a highly skilled, leadership-driven professional to join our team as a Planning and Control Manager. If you have deep expertise in project controls, strategic scheduling, and a track record of driving large-scale operations to success, we want to hear from you.

Job Purpose:

The Planning & Control Manager will be fully responsible for overseeing all planning, scheduling, budget monitoring, and cost control processes. You will ensure that our projects and operations are executed to the highest quality standards, delivered on time, and maintained strictly within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and manage master and detailed project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Monitor project performance and costs closely, perform variance analysis (planned vs. actual), and implement prompt corrective actions.
  • Formulate and manage project budgets, cash flow forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Mitigate risks by identifying potential delays or cost overruns early, providing proactive contingency plans.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to executive management regarding progress and financial status.
  • Coordinate effectively with procurement, engineering, and operations departments to ensure a seamless flow of materials and resources.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Civil, Mechanical) or Project Management.

Experience: 10 to 15 years of solid, progressive experience in planning and controls.

Industry Background: Strong preference given to candidates with an extensive background in the Manufacturing/Industrial or Construction/Contracting sectors.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and expert-level skills in data analysis and complex Excel sheets.

Certifications :

PMP (Project Management Professional) or PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) credentials are highly preferred.

Soft Skills:

Outstanding leadership qualities, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a strong analytical mindset capable of problem-solving under pressure.

Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
